Per-Symbol Daily Loss Cap
If any single symbol loses more than $20 today — that symbol is automatically paused until midnight. Prevents one bad asset from draining the account.

Consecutive Loss Block
After 3 consecutive stop-losses on the same symbol, that instrument is blocked for 2 hours. Prevents the EA from repeatedly re-entering a broken signal.
3 SL hits → 2 hour cooldown
Fixed: BTC hit SL 6 times in a row — 0 wins

ATR Spike Filter
If the current ATR is more than 2.5× the 20-bar average ATR, no trade is opened. Abnormally large candles signal a news event — the worst time to enter.

Fixed: Palladium SL hit within 4 seconds of entry

Per-Asset Lot Cap
Hard maximum lot size enforced per asset class. Commodities are capped tightest at 0.02 lots. Prevents auto-lot from calculating oversized positions.

Volatile Asset Session Lock
Silver, Platinum, and Palladium are only traded during London open (08–12 UTC) and NY open (13–20 UTC). No trades at 3am when spreads are 3× normal.
XAG / XPT / XPD — London+NY only
Fixed: Silver was trading at 03:24 UTC — disaster

Max Single Trade Loss
Any open trade with a floating loss exceeding $30 is closed immediately — regardless of stop loss distance. A second safety net for extreme market gaps.
Floating loss > $30 → instant close
